Hearing-Aid-D-H-D

For years I have been blaming ADHD for my complete lack of ability to sit through class without getting completely distracted. When I say completely distracted, I mean I notice everyone getting up to leave, but I don't recall having heard my teachers voice once that day. Scary.

Or like how when I was in 11th grade it took me three whole days to realize I was mistakingly enrolled in an ESL (english as a second language) class? Mas espantoso. (That's "more scary" for you english as a first language folk).

Or how about how I refused to raise my hand when I "heard the beep" for my hearing test(s) in elementary school because they were too quiet and too boring?

Anyways, I'm basically thinking these were all causes of me being partially deaf. Probably.
I realized it today in class when a boy asked to borrow a pencil and I uneasily handed him my warm water bottle. It's all making sense now.
Photo taken by Geoffrey last Valentines Day. He was actually screaming my name to get my attention but apparently I failed to hear...or was distracted by something shiny.

Sloan-er Boners!

The SLOANS (click to see more) are awesome and were nice enough to waste all their creative ideas on us. WE LOVE YOU MANGIE!

Top pix in the mix.

Because Geoffrey is in the oceanic background and my Mom is eating a teensy apple she found on a tree.

The next two are just "a couple of kids jumpin' around the world!!"

Shanna and Brad gettin' super freaky deeky on the dance floor. I wanna shake my tail feather every time I look at both of their faces.

And lastly this, because neither of our arms are extended toward the shutter button.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. R. Tyler White.

A six-minute look into our travels to Washington last weekend for Brothers wedding. Since we doubled as the photographers, we regret having little wedding footage. Pictures coming soon.

Good news minute!

Geoff got a hair cut! Doesn't he look handsome? His dream of having a "pony" just got three inches farther away.

Sasha Update.

There are many things Sasha contributes to our family that we never knew she would pre-adoption. For instance, Geoff looking real fly on his way to work every morning.

Or having more excuses to go get ice cream/zuka juice every day.

Getting cool points from the little ones. (Disregard Geoffs short shorts, yet another perk of Sasha.)

And disguising my bed-head as "wind blown" when we go get breakfast.. or lunch.

I don't know what we'd do without you Sash.

rancho grande!

This last weekend Shelly, Bryan, and Henry were kind enough to invite us to the ranch. THANKS BARNEYS! Good weather, s'mores, hiking, swimming, and quading were had. I decided I loved quading so much and wanted to be one of "those people" who have quads and drive them around their hood. You know the type. To save ourselves from being "those people", Geoff and I decided to come home and splurge on a scooter instead. This one in fact.

You can check us riding in style from here on out. (Don't worry, we'll be wearing matching helmets.) Meet Sasha!!!
Geoff made me wear this helmet on our first joyride since we haven't bought our cute ones yet. I felt like such a racket!

Yes that speedometer says 20 mph. Yes we were on Lindsay road?
