Some reasons why I still really like this guy:
-He's never walked into our house without a huge grin on his face. The first thing he does when he comes home (seriously, even before taking his shoes or man purse off) is hug and smooch us.
-Everything is more fun with him. I try to wait to run errands with him because he can make the DMV feel like Disneyland. For reals! Also, when I take him grocery shopping with me we're guaranteed to spend an extra $50 then we would have. (Strictly on Pepperidge Farm, Keebler Elf, and Hershey products of course.)
-He does everything, and is good at it. If he runs into something he doesn't know how to do, he learns how. I'm really not just saying that either, ask anyone. Actually, this one probably shouldn't be on this list because it actually irritates me.
-He checks multiple technology blogs multiple times a day.
-He tolerates my OCD. Even at 1:00 AM, when I'm tossing and turning because there is a mess somewhere in the house, he gets up and cleans with me. (I swear I don't ask him to, I'm not thaaaat bad of a wife.)
-Shhh....Sometimes he thinks about Baby V going off to college and he gets misty eyed. (Okay scratch what I said earlier, I am that bad of a wife.)
-He buys clothes from the little boys section sometimes. I drew the line when he almost ordered a suit from Crewcuts for our wedding. CREWCUTS!
-He doesn't call me out when I pretend to not know how to turn the DVD player on, pay bills (or "junk mail" I like to call them), empty the gross vacuum bag, etc.
-He genuinely loves to help people. If someone (anyone!) has something they need done, he practically begs them to let him help. Seriously, if you're wanting to do something all by yourself, don't tell Geoff. He will hunt you down and help you wither you like it or not.
-He wakes up early every Saturday and gets us donuts. A dozen of them.
-He gets bugged when I sing "his part" (Finn's part) when we're listening to the glee soundtrack.
-He's a busy body. I'm trying to think of a time I've ever seen him sit down...
-He's deathly afraid of spiders. Homeboy mows the lawn in boots and checks under the toilet seat before using it every.single.time.
-I have so much fun with him. Every night feels like a sleepover. (except better because I don't wake up with my hand in a bowl of warm water, BONUS!) We get super slap-happy and stay up way too late laughing about stupid things. I'm pretty sure we're the worst neighbors.
-He's never been grumpy in the 5 years that I've known him. It's actually kind of unsettling.

I was trying to remember when I knew for sure that you and Geoff were made for each other. I think it was when I saw your prom picture and you had cowboy boots on. Old grungy cowboy boots. I knew you were the girl for Geoff!

Exactly like Nicole I discovered your blog throught once wed and it's just awesome. What you said about your husband is exactly what I think about mine (execpt that he IS grumpy). But I cannot explain it that well. You have a beautiful family and I hope my mariage will be as happy as yours seems to be(we wed on december the 4th but known each other for 10 years).
