blessing!

ivy got blessed today! we woke up a little later than planned and snapped a few pictures on the way out. we clearly don't work too well under pressure, i just wanted to show off ivy's cute little blessing outfit my mom made her. THANKS MOM!

afterwards we ate a delicious spread at my parents house. THANKS MOM! (noticing a trend...)
and thanks to everyone else who came, ivy felt loved.

we wish we got a group picture, it's just so hard to stand that close to multiple loved ones in 110 degree heat.

..now if you excuse me i have about 12 more sugar cookies i need to go sleep off..

 shanna is a cutie pie (see below pictures). i like shanna because she tells the best stories,  she can do the splits, she buys me pretty nail polish, she works hard, and she has cute dimples. what's not to love!?

unintentional co-sleeping.

 always a pleasant surprise to wake up to this one in the morning. 

however, i say surprise because i have no recollection of bringing her into bed with us in the night. it's pretty scary. (another sign of a long zombie night is the unsnapped pajamas and loose diaper, i don't think i should be changing diapers in this kind of condition.)

like i said in the previous post, liz lemon. i may or may not sleep-order a pizza tonight.

 who knows! i know i won't.

First Sunday!

ivy went to her first block of church last sunday! she totally spit up during this self-timed picture beforehand. i think she was fakin' sick trying to get out of it. what homegirl didn't know was i invented that trick, can't fool me ms. ivy!

Being that there is a line for the changing table in our ward, you couldn't even hear her hoots and hollers throughout sacrament. I give her church etiquette a B+.

looks like we've found a new tradition!

On the last couple mile stretch of the drive home last night we noticed tons of cars lining the streets with people sitting on their cars. Looked like a firework show in the making!! Once we got home we dashed inside, grabbed a blanket, and got comfortable out in the front yard. Turns out the Highschool we live by puts on a killer show, we can't even wait for next July 4th!

Men!

Yesterday I caught Geoff trying to sneak this bigger TV into our house, thinking I wouldn't notice the upgrade. (I'll be honest, I probably wouldn't have noticed had I not seen him tip-toe-ing in with it.) That little!

Oh well, it made our 'So You Think You Can Dance' experience a little bit bigger and better last night, or that's what Geoff says anyways. (Can you say ALEX and TWITCH!?)
