Never before seen footage...

Loooook what I found. Two-year-old wedding reception footage that Geoff or I had somehow never seen before! We had so much fun watching these old dancing clips that I made a video for all the friends and family that make cameos on the dance floor. You'll learn in the first few seconds of the video that everyone was on a pretty big sugar high that night...


 Also, isn't it crazy that Elaine Benes showed up at our reception?

A little video to remember christmas 2010 with, and also to remember to think twice before speaking into a video camera when you're that excited about something (especially in baby talk). My apologies!

5 Days of Christmas.

Someday we'll wait until Christmas Day to open up all our Christmas gifts, but until then the tradition will continue to be having one or two gift-openings a night starting December 20th. (thats Geoffs birthday, I get jealous he's opening gifts and ask to open my Christmas gifts alongside him (a Sagittarius' nightmare?). Last night I got the Hunger Games books and Geoff got NBA Jam. We may not see each other until the new year now. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!

Joes Free Birthday Trifecta. (+1)

Wake up.  Open presents in bed. Eat breakfast at Joes Farm Grill. Take a family nap. Eat lunch at Liberty Market. Walk across the street and eat cookies at Joes BBQ. Bike ride. Eat dinner at Joes BBQ. Sing Happy Birthday and eat cake.

What else could you ask for on your 22nd birthday? 

Thank you for only having a birthday once a year Geoff.

V has a strict "No Pants" policy these days. It's cool though guys, with those legs she can totally pull it off. Have a good weekend!

An 85 degree Christmas.

That's right, tank top, poofy-shorts, and play-at-the-park weather in mid-december. Booyah!!

1st annual christmas pictures.

We were almost slackers and didn't get them done, but then what kind of precedent would that set for years to come!? We're so glad our friend Ben Christensen was able to do them for us, see the rest here. How nice it is to ALL be in the same picture together for once! Thank you Ben!

Also, if Geoff ever surprise calls me again from work telling me to "pick out some outfits, we have family pictures in two hours" I will make him wear a bikini...so just be glad you got wrinkly summer clothes and zumba hair this year.

Christmas time is here.

We had a festive weekend full of hot cocoa, temple lights, christmas trees/cookies/music/books/movies, and of course, the christmas aisle (level) at Ikea!

 My girl Jenna inspired me to get super crafty this christmas and handmake this and this. But really, who has time to get crafty? (That look I'm pulling is called sheer bliss, all my Christmas decor for under $50 and no glue involved? Sold!)

Thanks for pulling through for me once again, Ikea. Merry Christmas!

All things Christmas!

Christmas has already proven to be 10x more fun and meaningful with ivy. She's mesmerized by our (tiny) tree, she could stare at our (strand of) colored christmas lights for hours, and she goes crazy for her presents (wrapping paper) underneath the tree. It doesn't take much to impress her, and I love it. I think everyone should have a baby to celebrate their holidays with, it really takes the pressure off.
