GNO @ LGO

Whenever Geoff sees "GNO" written on the calendar, he automatically thinks I have a Gynecologist appointment scheduled (at 8pm, really?), but when I see GNO written on the calendar I'm like, "GIRLS NIGHT OUT!"
(That's right Geoff, no pap smears over here.)
Every time a girl in my family has a birthday or a baby, or if it's been too long since someone has had a birthday or a baby, we go out. This time we were celebrating the bun in Lynsis oven. She has cute kiddies.
Our GNO's usually go something like this:

+show up late
+require 5 million refills
+order the entire menu after much mulling
+get chatty and lethargic
+ask annoyed waiter to take our picture
+ask annoyed waiter to take our picture with a different camera
+stay till close
+get bummed when denied gelato and salted chocolate chip cookies from closed kitchen
+be forced to leave

If you are in the food industry and we come to your restaurant on a GNO, then I apologize. Last night their plan of attack was to turn the lights out on us, it got us as far as the parking lot where we crammed into my Moms car and talked and laughed for another hour or so.

Sisters are the best. Sometimes I think I'd be fine with only one girl and a boy, but then try to think what life would be like with no girls nights, and it's a life I don't like to think about.

your mom is the sweetest. i thought the same thing as geoff for the longest time (which is so lame because my mom and sisters are THEE best at gno's) i would see "awesome gno!" on facebook and be like "really? yours are awesome? i need to switch doctors."

I really wish we could start pulling these off monthly!!!! Love my GNO's with the girls!!!! Seriously that's one of the reasons I leave myself considering six.... I need one more girl to add to future gno's.

Sounds like so much fun, and you're making me kinda jealous since I don't have a sister! Guess I'll just have to make up for it with my own kids.

Jealous! Lynsi doesn't look pregnant and your mom looks the same age as all of you. I need to move to Arizona.

I'm the only girl in my family, with three brothers - this is the reason I always wanted sisters!!

Sounds like a LOT of fun =)

I only have one sister and she lives on other other side of the country from me, but when we get together that sounds like us! We're pretty much inseparable when we're together. I was thinking the same way as you, with the one of each sex thing, but I'm beginning to sincerely reconsider.

I love the White girls. And I agree with Kelly, why is Lynsi such a babe while pregs?

this made me laugh out loud....and i agree, siblings (esp. sisters) are the best gift a parent can give. ...well okay, one of the best gifts.
