nature walks and duck obsessions.

Last weekend we went on an early morning nature walk at the bird park. Now just to be clear, that first picture is not of ivy yawning, it's of her jaw dropped as she stared at the ducks in amazement. Turns out she is obsessed with them and will wave hello to every single one, what a quack! (get it?) Maybe I'll have to pull a Chandler Bing and get the girl a pet duck. Probably not though.
new weekend tradition! (until it gets 120 degrees that is, then a rubber duck in the pool will have to suffice, sorry girl.)

I LOVE her sweet little green coat! My two girls are obsessed with ducks too. I'm glad I can just take them to the park instead of something fancy like the zoo to impress them. ;)

hey, I am new to your blog. These pictures were just so cute! jaw dropping in amazement at the ducks makes me laugh so much. In college, I used to love watching a family of ducks on my way home along a river, and now I am missing them. though I do not think I would be tempted to pull a chandler bing, hah! anyway, cute blog and also I love the name Ivy :)

When I came home yesterday, there were two ducks walking across my driveway. Not sure where they were coming from. Too bad Ivy wasn't there to see them.
Maybe Ivy should wear her Lime Green Jeans with that cute little green coat!
