Since it's practically summer in Arizona, I thought it was appropriate to make some sundresses for Ivy. Who can resist a baby in a sundress? I am the worlds worst sewer, so a thank you goes to my Mom, who has found something I can sew that is somewhat fool-proof.
Don't be alarmed if this is all Ivy wears for the rest of her life.
**For those that have asked, I didn't use a pattern. It's essentially an elastic waist skirt with sleeves sewed on.

Aww. Such a pretty girl, and I love her sundresses! Can your mom make me one? xo.
lovely little dresses! it's awesome to find easy pattens that don't take to long to throw together! :)
Those are so cute! Did you buy a pattern?
These are adorable! Where did you get the pattern? I'm your 1000th follower-do I win something? ;-)
those are super cute, you did a great job!
Oh I love those little dresses!! Such cute fabric! Hawaii is seriously lacking in that area.....
Those are cute! If you need another idea, I have a friend who has made summer dresses out of pillowcases for her little girl. They are really cute and she tells me they're ridiculously easy! I bet you can find tutorials for that on the webz.

Ooh! How sweet she looks! And check out all that hair! My 16 month-old is still rockin' the bald baby comb-over. Lucky kid.
so so cute! i have the same question as everyone else, what pattern did you use?!
I think she looks so much like Geoff in those pictures :) Great job on the sewing!
kill me now. get me a girl soon or dash is going to be wearing these.
goodness, she is just the cutest ever! And adorable dresses - good job! :)
oh my gosh please sew my children's clothes when i am married with kids.
If only I were as crafty and classy as Stacie.. then I could fulfill my dream of dropping out and becoming the ultimate housewife!
PS: Ivy is an absolute doll! We need you see you guys more often.
That is possibly the cutest thing ever =)
no one can resist it. That baby is so cute.
Crazy adorable, omg. Is it sad that I have to ask what is an elastic waist skirt? Like some elastic, then sew the material around it to their size then add on the little sleeves? I'm totally making some of these. my girls will die.
so super cute. i love the wide straps! and i already know how to make an elastic waist skirt so this is perfect! also, just a "mommy tip"...don't store all her dresses away once she grows out of them, they turn into cute tops like 3 to 6 months later. love that about girl clothing.
aww, cute! they look great.
love the blue and white polkadots! i want one!
x.
what kind of lens do you use?
They're gorgeous! Good work!
Oh my, I am new to your blog and might I say, I was thinking about that cute little Ivy dancing all day! This blog is for sure being bookmarked!
TOO cute. I love the bebe wayferers too. It's pretty ridiculous when a baby is more fashionable than I.
give yourself some credit sewing is not easy, and you should probably show me how to make these. Newborns like dresses too right? serious question.
i think she looks so much liek her dad!
i think you've got some mad skills! those are adorable!
