I can take pictures all day, but when it comes to actually printing them out - I'm the worst. We have empty photo boxes, albums, and frames laying around everywhere, and I never seem to get them filled. We decided to fix this problem by purchasing a traditional camera and shooting with film every now and then, so basically we're forced to print them out. In retrospect, getting my behind to Costcos Photo Center would have been a lot easier and cost-effiecent. Oh well, some of my faves from the last roll:
The funny thing about film is that you kind of forget what you shot, and then when you develop it you're like, "Oh yeah, this was when Geoff and Ivy were on the longboard...wait why aren't either one of them wearing pants?" And then you get to re-enjoy the moment.
Have a good weekend, and make sure to put some clothes on if you're in front of a camera with no "trash" button. (Unless you're Ivy, then just sunglasses will do.)

haha that pantless pic is so good!
Love these!
love, love, love!
I have been buying disposable cameras a lot lately...and putting them in the freezer before I have them developed because it makes the colors extra crazy awesome!
PS...LOVED the photos you took of Mark and Amber. So excited to have her as a sister-in-law!
there's just something about the look of film. i'm so glad you shared these!
i am totally the same way with digital photos. my husband and i don't even have any wedding photos up in our apartment because i'm too lazy...and we got married 3 years ago! haha
and i also just got an old film camera and i looooove it. film is making a comeback! great pictures :)
I'm the exact same way! I've only printed 5 pictures since August. 5!
Stace- her tummy! i love her.
Ha! Is Geoff a "never-nude"?? Cute pics.
I am SO the same way! I rarely actually PRINT my pictures...so I need to get off my Butt and JUST GO DO IT! haha. And its a great idea to use a camera with actual film every one in a while! love the pictures. Ivy is beautiful!
why is it that film pictures just look way more magical?
I love rediscovering pictures and adventures I went on by taking pictures with film. I just hate that some pictures turn out poorly and I've wasted a shot... usually when I throw my camera in my purse and forget to lock the shutter! Oops!
p.s. "wait why aren't either of them wearing pants?" made me laugh out loud and then I had to look back on the picture, then I laughed some more!
Happy Friday!

you're totally inspiring me to grow out my bangs.
thank you for the reminder that i really need to print some of my million pictures from the last few years. it's been on my to-do list for ages.
beautiful photos of your little fam as always. ivy is the greatest! i totally want to squeeze her chubby little legs in real life, so if i run into you sometime and do that don't be creeped out.
These are so cute! I would love to have a film camera. I have a Polaroid and Fuji Instax that I love, but the mystery of film developing is something that I miss! What sort of camera have you been using?
Your fam is presh, by the way.
xo,
Sarah
