The hardest part about rollerblading..

..Is not being able to rollerblade at all because your husband is wearing them. Geoff was feeling pretty left out the night he got them for me, but then realized he mistakingly got me a size too big. How convenient.
I'm fine sharing them I suppose, he's given me the confidence to almost start rollerblading in broad daylight. I mean, if he can look that cool doing it...
Please note that in the second picture above, Geoff is asking a 5 year old if he can blade off his BMX ramp. Also note that the 5 year old said no because Geoff was wearing pink girl blades. Rejected.

I am cracking up that Geoff was shot down by a 5 year old.

Haha sounds like someone had a little birthday gift envy. It also sounds like Geoff needs to keep that pair and get you another. Then you can ride around in your matching pink blades!

Also, I LOVE that the kid rejected him! Epic!

i'm too uncoordinated for this. roller blading scaaares me. i'd rather just bike. with training wheels.

I foresee a lot of spontaneous trips to the Sev (7-11) to get slurpees via blades & cruisers...a typical Arizona summer day activity.

hey! your blog is seriously the best, you guys are so cute and ivy is darling. anyway I had a really random question to ask you because I was reading your 'evolution' story and then I found your wedding pics (wow long explanation!) anyway, my question is- where did you get your dress? I love it! I am getting married in like 2 months and I think so many wedding dresses are ugly but yours is absolutely perfect. any thoughts? thank you so much!!!

you guys seriously have the best stories. i can't believe a 5-year old said no. someone's parents don't teach manners.

i always thought the hardest thing about rollerblading was telling your parents you're gay.
