i love it too. arizona is the best.
I used to live in AZ and loved it! I loved that I never ever had to was my car, the orange blossoms, food and there is so much to do!But I do have to say I have a lot of Washington pride :) All the fresh water lakes, its sooo green, and the people there are super low key-wear-my-north-face-jacket-everywhere type of people. Classy, but low maitence people!
I'm glad you mentioned "A-R-I-Z-O-N-A pack your bags and come today!" I sang it in my head as I read it and almost did our 4th grade recess dance performance to it!
I love my state (New Mexico) because I can find authentic Mexican food just about anywhere I go. YUMMY!
I love my state (I'm gonna wrap Idaho and Montana together even though I live in Idaho now) because of the four seasons and the relaxed, low key atmosphere. I love that in a matter of minutes you can find a place to get out of town, into the woods, and totally alone. I love the wildlife, and the smell of cut grass on summer evenings. Geez, I could go on forever. I think I now have an idea for a blog post of my own. Thanks :) Arizona sounds wonderful too. I would love to visit it in January or February. Also, Stephanie said she loved the orange blossoms... I would love to see those.
if ivy likes it, then it's good enough for me.
I loved this post. My story with Arizona is very different. My husband and I moved here a year and a half ago after graduating from college and completing our internships. We had no job, no place to live, and we were pregnant with our first. When we got here, we moved in with my in-laws. I really, totally blamed Arizona for how difficult our lives were, just because I felt like something had to be blamed. It's been hard coming around to it, but as you said, the winters are life-changing. Especially for us since we came from Idaho and Utah! I hope to be completely in love with AZ like you someday.
WHere do I start? I love Louisiana for it's culture!!! The wetlands are so beautiful and the food is magnificent!!! The people here have great hospitality and always starts a conversation off with "where are you from? WHo's ya mama and ya daddy? Are they related to such and such?" Then you eventually figure out that this person knows your entire family history!!!
Loved your post and your cute blog. :) ~Marily
