I was so excited when we pulled up to the house the Langs rented out for the weekend because it was only a 30 second walk from the beach. Every morning we were there we'd walk down to the lifeguard tower and look for dolphins, it was a dream! Ivy finally discovered her love for the ocean, she loved running from the freezing waves and even acquired a taste for sand... she loved eating that sand. So glad she's finally a beach-goer, can't wait to take her back when it's warmer! Now a picture overload.

These photos are adorable! I love going to the beach in the winter. There's something about it that's so charming.
Of all my trips to the ocean, the one I took several years ago in early spring -- when it was empty and chilly and beautiful -- remains my favorite. Ivy is ADORABLE.

love all the beach action! I can just sit and look at your pics all day and wish I was at the beach! it's like 30 degrees, snowy, and so windy I think my house is going to blow over! Oh I miss me some good az sunshine right now, or Newport.. I'd take either!
Had to tell you, KK was feeling super cute and stylish this morning and asked me if she looked like you... of course it made her day when I told her she did! (that's her go to question when she's feelin it, if she looks like you she knows she's all that!)
