4/13/12

well hello, 3rd trimester.

Everyone says that the 2nd trimester is the easiest and best part of pregnancy, but I say good riddance! The way I look at it, I'm that much closer to canoodling this sweet little babe rather than my ginormous belly, so I say bring it on! It's only a little bit unfortunate that I'm bigger than my master bedroom and look seemingly identical to tweedle-dee (after he ate tweedle-dum for breakfast), but luckily these next couple months will be crazy busy and I'm hoping will just fly by. Let's see, no new complaints or changes have occured in the past few weeks, besides maybe a few inches on my waistline, but whose measuring? (Actually my Doctor does every checkup, that punk!) I'm sure I'll think up a nice big list of pregnancy woes to complain about next time I post (because I'm very good at complaining you see), but for now I'll just embrace my weirdly semi-positive attitude about it. I don't expect it to last too long anyway with 100 degree days in the future forecast. ;)

Also, a huge thank you goes out to my cute new friend Debbie who I met at a Christmas party last year. Her generosity can only be explained by my theory that she actually started to hear my regular Sunday morning meltdowns all the way from her house as I desperately look for something to wear to church each week. She gifted me an adorable blouse from her shop as well as this perfect pregnancy-friendly-elastic-waist skirt that I love (she has more in other great colors, too!). Anyway, make sure to check out all her great finds on her online Etsy shop, and if you live in the Gilbert/Mesa area feel free to contact her and personally check out all the vintage goodies yourself!

You are so adorable. I am moving to AZ in July. I guess I won't be super pregnant, but how does one survive the heat, exactly?

Great skirt, I love the pleats! And I agree that while it's great to be pregnant, it's nowhere near as good as having the actual babby :)
