When I was a kid one of my favorite things to do was talk one of my siblings into letting me switch bedrooms with them. Once I found someone who agreed, we'd spend the rest of the day moving our belongings across the house. I did this more times than I can remember, and it usually took place on a weekend. Sometimes the move was an upgrade, but sometimes not so much. For instance, when I ended up with 2 extra tenants and my oldest sister Lynsi got the biggest room and bathroom all to herself. She denies this ever happening, but my old bunkmates Shanna and Shelly can back me on this. Even though that was not one of my better tradeoffs, I still loved the feeling of change, and I still do. There is nothing better than getting a brand spanking new, squeeky clean room by the end of the night. The other weekend I got the itch to swap some of the rooms around in our house, and Geoff was on board. Our dining room table is now where the den once was, and vice-versa. I'm really liking the change for now, but like all things- we'll see how I feel about it next month. ;)

Ha! I loved those Sundays when bedroom negotiations were in order. We definitely have the same DNA because there is nothing I love more than change.
Can't wait to see the new layout next week;)
P.S. Either Lynsi has a really bad memory, or she feels way to bad about making us three share a full bed while she had the queen to ever acknowledge that this actually happened. :)
Myself and my brothers and sister used to do this aaall the time and as a result we have all had all the bedrooms in our house at one time or another!
I am in LOVE with this paint color, do you happen to know what it is still? It photographs perfectly!
I remember that in elementary school! When I went over to your house you always had a different bedroom!
I am notorious for this in my family. My husband says I have a special look in my eye when I've got a new furniture scheme in mind and I need his help to shift things. Room changes are the best.
What in the world.. that absolutely never happened!(... and if it did, well, I'm glad you still love me!) I'm sure the story will be exaggerated over the years though...just wait.
Back in our Moon Valley days I was moving furniture around on a monthly basis, must be in the genes!
My boyfriend and his brothers use to have a chart that dictated they were to swap beds every night. There were three boys and for years they never slept in the same bed two nights in a row. Too far?
