I really hate how fast this past 10 days has gone by. I just don't think it's fair you have to be pregnant for a whopping 9+ months and then only relish in that sweet newborn stage for a few short weeks thereafter. I would honestly change 20 diapers a day and get up in the night every 1-3 hours for the rest of my life if that meant I could always have a newborn in arms reach. In my opinion, there is nothing much better than a swaddled 9 pound baby breathing heavily on your chest. Lola James; I love your silky dark hair, your cheeks that feel exactly like overly ripe peaches, your fuzzy little biceps, and your cheesy grin that you literally cannot control. You are perfection and I can't stop smooching on you.

Totally agree! my doughter is now 2 years old, and yes it´s so fun becouse she starts to talk, but I miss so much when she was newborn. I love the stage where I could hold her as long as I wanted, just hug her, just kiss her... she could do nothing, just be close to me
