I may be knocking on wood here, but the past 24 hours Ivy has done nothing but exceed my highest and most unrealistic set of expectations about the transition of gaining a new "baby see-tah". There is absolutely nothing sweeter than seeing Ivys face light up anytime Lo makes a peep, see her share her most beloved toys and blankets with her, or watch her excitedly stick her finger in Lolas hands over and over waiting for her to tightly grasp it with her newborn grip. While I am 100% sure there are many tears, screams, and meltdowns ahead-- today has made me feel like the luckiest Mom in the whole world. I love that these two snuggled up in our bed tonight and dozed off to dreamland together. I think they're going to be the best of friends.

Sisters are the best. I'm so glad Lola and Ivy have each other...It will be so fun to watch them grow up together:)
