I think a self-given bang trim is a toddlers rite of passage, Ivy experienced hers last week after dance. She instantly freaked out afterward, but isn't that the normal reaction after one impulsively cuts their own bangs? I probably should have taken it to the professionals, however figured I'd save 12 dollars and rely on her curly hair to mask whatever hack job I created when finishing the job. Turns out she looks really cute with crooked bangs.

My mom cut mine and my sister's hair for a looooong time. No need to spend money on something so simple!
I still remember in the first or second grade, I decided I didn't want bangs anymore (I was trying to emulate Britney Spears, if I'm not mistaken). I did not realize that you had to grow bangs out and therefore chopped them off in my room. I had short, stubby little bangs for ages afterwards. My poor mom couldn't do anything to rescue them...
My dad used to cut my bangs when I was little and they always ended up SO short. The pictures are pretty funny to look back on! Ivy though, looks adorable with her bangs! I love them.
Yeah, I love them. Good work you two.
Also, I feel like she looks 10 years older. Such a mature little Ivy.
I still absoultey LOVE her bangs. And I have yet to pay for a haircut for my girls, they don't know any better. Hopefully no one else notices how crooked their hair is!
She looks so gorgeous with that fringe :) I just want to say that your photography is stunning and I have been checking you (I mean) it out for a while hahaha. I would love to be at your calibre of photography :) x
such a sweet photo. :)
Mmm pretty sure I tried to give myself bangs in college and failed. I paid someone to do it recently and it's worked out much better.
Good call Ivy! They look awesome on her!
I paid someone to cut my fringe like that in 2008! Maybe I'll get it cut back in now that I'd be in such fashionable company
