andRuby.

I never thought I'd be the Mom who dressed her kids up in matching outfits, however I've quickly learned to never (and I mean NEVER) say "never" as a Parent. For instance, I never planned on my kid sporting a princess costume everywhere we went, and I most definitely never thought I'd be the one with the tantrum-throwing kid in the grocery line, but A-HA! Here I am thinking, "I should really get these girls some matching outfits." (All while my toddler is shouting and kicking her plastic Cinderella heels in the produce section.) Talk about putting my foot in my mouth! So anyway, if you can forgive me for being a complete cheese ball, here are the girls in their new twinner threads. They look stoked, right? ;)

Much better than most of the outfits our generation had to suffer through. I can remember matching denim jumpers...ooh boy. Your girls are more stylish than me!

I think the outfits are cute! And they are not too matcy matcy which is nice.
I also thought I would bever have toddlers throwing fits in public, yet I had two in a row, one in the library and one at the grocery store. I know how you feel!

Matching outfits is a right of passage for all siblings I'm sure and I'll admit I'm looking forward to matching my girls when they're a bit bigger!

Yesssss! I love this post. Welcome to the shamelessness of realistic parenting. I knew a girl who once said she would only ever dress her future kid in "Gap clothes" which is funny for lots of reasons, but my point is it didn't happen.

I wish I could've run into you at the store that day :) Until our next spastic checkout line convo...
