better late than never?

I'm still allowed to post Christmas stuff on here because believe it or not, we still have our Christmas lights up. I'll  blame it on the fact that Geoff got challenged by our neighbor to a friendly game of "Christmas light chicken." Unfortunately we won that by a landslide, and are continuing to still take the lead in a game that no one else is playing. Anyway, here's a quick little minute or so glimpse into our Christmas morning. Ivy obviously loved opening up all of her presents and loved assisting Lola open hers, too. What a good little helper.

I love Geoffs comment... You've only got one day to open it Ivy.. so funny! Looks like she took the present opening very seriously! She looks so cute and grown up, and sweet little Lola...I love those smiles of hers! (I still can't get over how much she looks like Geoff!) Oh and I loved the song too! You guys are the cutest!

Watching this a little late. Its so awesome to see children so loved and blessed by their parents. I've worked in some sad situations with kiddos before, its easy to loose hope. Thanks for sharing. Their matching PJs are the best!

Christmas light chicken? hilarious! I aso love when Ivy walks in and is all confused and spins in a couple circles trying to figure out exactly what it means that she can open the presents under the tree.
